Required Paperwork

Our goal is to keep your efforts to a minimum. To get started, here is what we need:

1)

Copies of your Workers Compensation premium audit invoice for at least the last year or two. If you can obtain more than two years, all the better. The more years that we can review, the greater the likelihood of finding a mistake and the larger the potential refund.

2)

Copies of your experience modification calculation for the last year or two.

3)

Copies of your policy declaration pages and rating pages. These are the pages without the boilerplate. They show dates of coverage, premiums, classifications, rates, experience modifications, and other data that is unique to your business. You do not need to send the boiler plate language (preprinted) that goes with every policy.

4)

If audit worksheets are available, please include them. The worksheets are a road map to much of the underlying logic and assumptions that determine your final premium.

5)

Any other information that you think might be helpful. This might include correspondence between your agent and underwriter, notices from the rating bureau or NCCI, replies to past inquiries, or just about anything else that will help us to better understand why your premiums are what they are today.

NOTE: As a general rule, you are allowed to challenge the last three policies. However, where egregious mistakes are found, we have persuaded some insurers to go back further. There is no harm in sending us paperwork as far back as you can find.

While PRA focuses on certain industries, 22 years of experience has shown that overcharges can occur to any employer, in any industry. Anyone with a significant premium can be the victim of an overcharge. See the list of industries that we have worked with in the past.

We have also found that some insurance companies are more likely to overcharge than others. So if the policies that you send to us are with one of those companies, the likelihood of an overcharge increases dramatically.

We have worked with and saved money for companies throughout the United States. We are located in New Hampshire but have worked with clients in most states and as far away as Hawaii. Between telephone, fax, mail and email, distance is not a problem.
