Our preferred method of payment is a contingency
fee. This provides us with the incentive to wake up early
every morning and to work late into the night. And since the
client must receive a refund or a credit before we earn a
penny, there is never a risk.
It has always seemed strange that some
people resist an offer like this. Either they believe that
there is some gimmick (there isn’t), or that they know
the business so well that nothing could have escaped their
review. We have made a good living from those who were wrong
on both counts.
